Ordinary contacts just shifted one step nearer to letting you capture lasers from your eye.
Scientists lately developed the first pliable, ultrathin “membrane laser beam” that may be set to curve or fragile things. After being recharged with blue light, the membrane produces lasers; researchers examined the materials by inserting it on contacts that then they installed on cow eyeballs, corresponding to a fresh study.
